August 3 - 9
Pursuant to direction from California Governor Gavin Newsom and the President of the United States, our “In-Church” services are suspended temporarily, effective immediately.
The Governor called that individuals over the age of 65 “to practice home isolation”, and the President’s request that no gatherings exceed 10 persons in number, and Mary Baker Eddy’s statement in Retrospection 87:10, “Genuine Christian Scientists are, or should be, the most systematic and law-abiding people on earth”… have precipitated these actions.
So, in compliance with these requests, we are moving to "call-in" services until we are advised that we can resume our normal in-person services.
SUNDAY MORNING ["CALL-IN" SERVICE UNTIL FURTHER NOTICE]
10:00 -11:00 am
Join us in song and prayer; listen to a global Bible Lesson read from the Bible and Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures, by Mary Baker Eddy, the founder of Christian Science.
WEDNESDAY EVENING TESTIMONY MEETING ["CALL-IN" SERVICE UNTIL FURTHER NOTICE]
7:30 - 8:30 pm
Don't miss our one-hour Wednesday testimony meeting — it includes singing hymns and inspiring readings from the Bible and Science and Health on a timely subject. Testimonies of healings experienced through prayer alone are shared.
Childcare is available at all meetings. Phone-in services are also available.
10:00 -11:00 am
Children and teens are all welcome in our Sunday School. Classes are held at the same time as the Sunday church service. Students study the Scriptures, beginning with Bible stories, the Ten Commandments, the Lord’s Prayer, and the Sermon on the Mount.
Mon - Sat, 10:00 - 4:00 pm
A peaceful downtown refuge for all to study or purchase the Bible, the writings of Mary Baker Eddy, and other Christian Science publications. A great resource to explore spiritual healing!
Brian Pennix, CSB, gives a talk on the positive aspect of innocence, that are far from naivete or vulnerability. This talk was originally given as a webinar on April 12, 2020.
